KATHMANDU, Sept 16: CPN-UML Standing Committee member and former deputy prime minister Top Bahadur Rayamajhi has accused the current Sher Bahadur Deuba-led government of being ‘an alliance of greedy sinners’. He said that the government has already wasted two months.
Speaking in an interview organized by Reporters Club Nepal on Thursday, Raymajhi said that the government is afraid of conducting elections. He also said that the citizens now have to decide which party is better and the government should conduct elections to defend the constitution and democracy.
According to him, his party will continue to obstruct proceedings of parliament until the demands raised by his party are met. He said that his opinion on MCC would come ‘only after the government makes its position clear on the topic’.
“Former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli had dissolved parliament and announced the dates for elections in defense of the constitution,” he said.
