JUMLA, Aug 19: Local administration has withdrawn the curfew from Wednesday morning which was affective since last four days here in the district.

The curfew was clamped in different parts of district for indefinite period on Sunday.According to Dipendra Raj Adhikari Poudel, Chief District Officer (CDO), the curfew was withdrawn citing possible inconvenience to the people residing at Badimalika area on the occasion of Nagpanchami.

A meeting held between the demonstrators and the local administration on Tuesday had decided to carry out the protest program in a restrained manner.

With the withdrawal of the curfew, market places, bazaar shops in the district have been opened and movement of people has also increased.
