KATHMANDU, March 29: The district administration, Rupandehi, has relaxed curfew in Butwal municipal area until noon Sunday, according to FM stations. The district authorities said they relaxed the curfew to enable people to buy essential goods and allow transportation of goods and passengers through the city. The administration had imposed the curfew since Friday – with some breaks – after the murder of a Youth Force leader, Prachanda Thaiba. Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist-Leninist), parent organization of YF, has launched protests in the city and surrounding areas, demanding action against the guilty.
