Curfew lifted for two and half hours in Birgunj

BIRGUNJ, Nov. 4: The District Administration Office, Parsa, has lifted the curfew order imposed in Birgunj city till 11:00 am today.

With the latest decision of the administration, normal activities have gone up in the city area.

Chief District Officer, Keshav Raj Ghimire, said that the curfew order would continue after 11:00 am until next notice.

The administration had clamped an indefinite curfew in Birgunj from 3:00 pm on Monday after the situation turned tensed following the clashes between the cadres of the agitating Madhes-centric political parties and police. RSS
