Cruise-like ship operated in Narayani River from today

CHITWAN, Jan 15: A cruise-like ship will be operational in the Narayani River from today. Rhino Water Entertainment Company has announced that the cruise ship will be operational from today.

The cruise-like ship was already tested two years ago. The company said that it was difficult to put the cruise ship into operation due to the Covid-19 pandemic and some policy issues.

According to Deepak Dhungel, executive director of the company, the cruise ship is going to be operated after completing all the procedures. According to him, there will be a special cruising time at 1 PM today. A total of 180 people can ride on the three-story cruise ship at a time.

Passengers traveling on cruise-like ships are insured for Rs 1 million. Dhungel said that the ticket for boarding the cruise ship is Rs 700, Rs 1500 for breakfast cruise, Rs 2000 for lunch cruise and  Rs 2500 for dinner cruise.

There is a cruise ship station at Ward no. 16, Gyaneshwar Community Forest, Kavreghat, Bharatpur Metropolitan City. Passengers will get to enjoy the Narayani river cruise for about an hour at a time.

The managing director of the company, Ramchandra Kandel said that activities such as weddings, engagements, birthday celebrations and wedding anniversaries can be done on the cruise-like ship.

Kandel said that more than Rs 150 million was spent on the construction of the cruise ship. According to him, permission has been taken for cruise operation up to 40 km. He said the route will be identified and the journey will be made accordingly. A restaurant, a stage for events, a hall that can hold meetings and seminars, and a selfie point have also been built inside the cruise-like ship.
