The meeting, said to be decisive on the formation of election government, was originally scheduled for 2 pm today. Top leaders of UCPN (Maoist), Nepali Congress (NC), United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) have already reached the meeting venue. [break]
On the other hand, the UML CC meeting is being seen with much importance as the CC is determining whether the party should accept the UCPN (Maoist) proposal for making sitting chief justice (CJ) the head of election government.
Leaders participating in the meeting have said most of the CC members are posed against the proposal while the party top brass is pushing in favor of the proposal. It was, as said earlier, due to UML´s indecision that the parties during Thursday´s meeting could not agree on formation of a CJ-led election government.
