“The traditional army of Nepal should be transformed, modernized, downsized, and ultimately abolished,” said party leader Rishi Kattel presenting his party’s concept on the future constitution at Constitutional Committee of the Constituent Assembly on Wednesday.

Kattel said his party wanted to change Nepal’s national flag and national anthem too. He also called for reservation for laborers in all the state mechanism. He suggested that the state should be restructured into 11 ethnic provinces.
