DANG, May 23: CPN-UML mayoral candidate Tikaram Khadka is leading the local polls with 20,894 votes in Tulsipur Sub-metropolis of Dang.
Similarly, Khadka’s closest rival from the ruling coalition, Gehendra Giri of the Nepali Congress received 18,940 votes. Likewise CPN-UML candidate Syani Chaudhary is leading the deputy mayoral race with 20,311 votes while her closest rival from the coalition, Jog Bahadur Rana of CPN (Unified Socialist) has received 14,023 votes.
Meanwhile, the CPN-UML candidates have also won the post of mayor and deputy mayor in Ghorahi Sub-metropolis in the district,
