The Maoists rallied on Monday in protest of vandalization of their party office during Tamang Mukti Morcha on Sunday.
Maoist cadres also beat up two policemen who tried to control the situation. APF constable Sarja Bahadur Mahara sustained facial injuries.
The vandalization has left a UML member injured and the building´s windows broken.
