CPN (Masal) to establish museum of Nepali communist movement

KATHMANDU, Oct 8: CPN (Masal) has decided to establish a Museum of the Communist movement of Nepal with archive books, documents, newspapers, manuscripts, photographs and other political as well as historical records.



A national gathering of the party took the decision to establish the museum in Butwal and hopes to expand it as a national museum.[break]



"We believe that the establishment of the museum will help any initiative for study and research on Nepali communist movement," said a statement issued by Mohan Bikram Singh, general secretary of CPN (Masal).



It has sought support of government, other political parties, related organizations and individuals in compiling the related data and records.



The party´s national gathering also reiterated its previous decision to push for formation of national consensus government and to mandate the same coalition to hold fresh Constituent Assembly (CA) polls.
