CPN-Maoist not against talks, election: Thapa

PARSA, May 19: General Secretary of the CPN-Maoist, Ram Bahadur Thapa, has said that they are not against talks and election.



Expressing the view at a news conference organized by the Revolutionary Journalists´ Federation, Parsa, here on Sunday, Thapa said that they are ready to hold talks with the government.[break]



He said scrapping of the 25-point ordinance, dissolution of the four-party mechanism and formation of an election government under the leadership of political parties through a roundtable conference are their demands for the talks.



Thapa further said that they would only participate in the election to be held by a political party-led government.
