According to the family source the senior Thapa was suffering from asthma and took his last breath at 5:30 am in course of treatment at Bharatpur-based College of Medical Science.[break]
His last rites will be conducted today, it is learnt.Following the demise of his father, CPN-Maoist General Secretary Badal has arrived in his hometown.
