CPN-Maoist banda affects normal life in Dadeldhura

DADELDHURA, Nov 1: The CPN-Maoist enforced shutdown has brought vehicular movement into grinding halt in the mountainous districts in far-Western region today.



The transport service has been completely shut in the mountainous districts including Dadeldhura, Baitadi, Darchula, Doti, Achham and Bajura. However, light vehicles and motorbikes used for the election purpose are seen plying on the road. [break]



The traffic disruption since early this morning has panicked normal life in the district.



CPN-Maoist has enforced shutdown in western Nepal today demanding the release of its cadres arrested while protesting the election process.



The shutdown has no affect in market, educational institutions and offices.



Likewise, the shutdown has adversely affected normal life in all districts of Lumbini zone today.



It has badly affected the revelers of Hindu´s second great festival Tihar.
