KATHMANDU, April 24: A 62-year-old man from Jhapa has tested positive for COVID-19 on Friday.
Assistant spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population, Dr Samir Kumar Adhikari informed that the man was diagnosed with this disease at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan earlier on Friday.
With this, the total number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Nepal has climbed to 49. Of them, 10 have recovered and no death has been reported so far.
