KATHMANDU, July 28: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has pointed out the need for completely controlling the COVID-19 pandemic. He mentioned that COVID-19 cases which had decreased have started rising again and said that there is a need to control the viral disease completely.
Speaking at a program held in Kathmandu on Thursday on the occasion of the 133rd anniversary of Bir Hospital, the PM said that the government should also develop its capacity to control various pandemics that may come in the future.

Prime Minister Deuba expressed his belief that the related health institutions will also pay attention to arranging the treatment for deadly diseases like cancer in a timely manner. Deuba also said that the government is determined to provide health services to the citizens in an accessible manner.
Making it clear that healthcare is mentioned as a fundamental right of the citizens in the constitution, PM Deuba said that the government has also allocated the required budget for it.
