COVID-19 vaccines administered to 18,000 people in Baitadi

BAITADI, August 13: As many as 18,063 people in Baitadi have received vaccines against COVID-19 infection 


According to Yogesh Bhatta, Chief of the Health Office of the district, 37,668 people have been administered their first dose of the vaccine. However, those who were administered the first shot of Covishield vaccine have not received their second dose.

People who were administered with the first dose of Vero Cell vaccine were administered the second dose as well, Bhatta said. In addition to this, 11,495 people were administered the J&J vaccines. 


The vaccination campaign in Baitadi district was initiated from January 23 to February 6. Bhatta said the vaccination drive against COVID-19 was conducted in all wards of the district.
