Court orders release of RPP Vice Chair Mishra on Rs 300,000 bail

The bench, led by Judge Tara Devi Maharjan, directed the release of Mishra, who is accused in the Tinkune protest held on March 28. He was arrested the same day.

KATHMANDU, June 17: The Kathmandu District Court has ordered senior vice-chairman of Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), Rabindra Mishra to be released on bail of Rs 300,000.


The bench, led by Judge Tara Devi Maharjan, directed the release of Mishra, who is accused in the Tinkune protest held on March 28. He was arrested the same day.

According to the court’s order, Mishra will be released today after he submits the bail amount.
