Couple arrested with brown sugar

BHADRAPUR, Jan 5: Police arrested a couple with brown sugar from Puspa Lal chowk in ward no. 6 of Arjundhara municipality on Friday. Bikas Gurung,31, and his wife Senjal Limbu,20, were arrested from their home. 

Acting on a tip-off, police arrested the couple with 24.71 grams of brown sugar from their home, according to District Police Office spokesperson Mahendra Shrestha. 

They have been taken into custody at the Area Police Office in Birtamod and further investigation is underway.
