Coronavirus-related death toll in Province 1 climbs to 103

BIRATNAGAR, Oct 12: The number of people dying of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Province 1 has climbed to 103 with one more person dying of COVID-19 on Monday.

A 37-year-old man from Barahachhetra Municipality-1 of Sunsari who had earlier tested positive for COVID-19 breathed his last while undergoing treatment at Nobel Teaching Hospital on Monday morning, according to Narayan Dahal, an official at the hospital. The deceased was a kidney patient.

With this latest fatality, COVID-19-related death toll in Province 1 has risen to 103.
