KATHMANDU, Nov 26: CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has said that cooperation among all people is a must to solve the country’s problems.
Addressing the inaugural session of the party’s national General Convention in Chitwan on Friday, Chairman Oli stressed on the need for cooperation and coordination among everyone to resolve the issues related to hunger and poverty and mitigate the effects of climate change.

Chairman Oli also mentioned that strong democratic values are vital to realize the goal of achieving Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali. He said that the constitution may be amended on the basis of necessity and justification. Stating that he had changed the course of the party toward peace and harmony, he said that Nepal as a nation is also heading towards a peaceful future.
In a separate note, Chairman KP Sharma Oli said that UML is not in need of majority seats in parliament but the country is in dire need of UML making it to the government again. “UML is not in need of a majority, the country is in need of it. The UML needs to achieve the majority to protect democracy and the constitution and to direct the country toward waves of development,” Oli added.
