BUTWAL, Nov 19: Minister for Defense Bal Krishna Khand has said that the development works failed to pick up pace due to the prolonged transitional politics in the country.

Inaugurating the 22nd general assembly of the Western Transportation Entrepreneurs' Association in Butwal on Saturday, Minister Khand expressed his confidence that the country would take economic stride as he said that the constitution was in the process of implementation. He also called for cooperation and unity among all the political parties towards this cause.

Furthermore, the Minister, who was all praises for the performances of the Nepal Army, urged one and all not to do anything that would instigate conflict with the neighboring countries.

On the occasion, Minister Khand also directed the authority concerned to provide adequate construction materials for the under-construction Gautam Buddha International Airport and other development projects in the region.

Present on the occasion were Prime Minister's chief political advisor Chakrapadi Khanal, parliamentarians, Association's President Dhadhiram Kharel and transportation entrepreneurs among others who too echoed Minister Khand's sentiments. RSS
