KATHMANDU, Aug 15: The Consumer Protection Bill, 2018 has been tabled in the parliament on Wednesday.


Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Matrika Yadav presented the Bill for deliberations in the parliament.

Presenting the Bill, Minister Yadav said that all the manufacturers and retailers are the consumers and have the equal status.


Clause-wise deliberations over the Bill by lawmakers will begin after the Parliament Secretariat prepares a schedule.
