KATHMANDU, Feb 3: CPN-UML Secretary Top Bahadur Rayamajhi has urged the government to announce the date of local elections immediately as per the provisions of the constitution.

He stressed the need for holding elections to avoid leaving the local units without the elected people's representatives. He accused the oppositions of conspiring to prevent the election.
He said, "UML will not form an alliance with other parties in the local level elections. We will go among the people with our agenda.”
