Top Bahadur Rayamajhi's son Sandeep Rayamajhi being brought to Kathmandu

KATHMANDU, May 4: Sandeep Rayamajhi, son of former Deputy Prime Minister and CPN-UML Secretary Top Bahadur Rayamajhi, is being brought to Kathmandu today.


Kathmandu Valley Police Office Superintendent of Police (SP) Sitaram Rijal said that Sandeep Rayamajhi, who was arrested from Butwal on Wednesday on the charge of being involved in the case of frauding Nepalis on the pretext of sending them to the USA as fake Bhutanese refugees, will be brought to Kathmandu today.

District Police Office Rupandehi Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Shyam Aryal said that Rayamajhi was taken to Bhairahawa Airport and will be sent to Kathmandu. According to him, Sandeep Rayamajhi is being sent to Kathmandu by a Buddha Air plane.


“The ticket was for 7 AM, the flight was delayed due to the weather. He is at the airport," DSP Aryal said.


DSP Aryal stated that Sandeep Rayamajhi, who was arrested from Butwal, was kept in the district police office last night.
