The UCPN (Maoist) also had imparted similar training to its cadres across the country ahead of the general strike called early this month.

Yadav said that the trainees will stay at Karchibarma of Bara district for the next ten days and train other fellow party workers. The trainees will then impart training to MPRF cadres in other districts. He said that his party has planned to produce 100 "combatants" in each of the 22 districts.

"This training aims at expanding Madhesi youth organization," Yadav said ,"The training is needed to overcome obstacles on the way to establishing an autonomous Madhes state."

Retired police superintendent Sadananda Kurmi and retired police inspector Birendra Yadav are currently training the Madhesi youths at the Janata Secondary School. The 12-hour training begins at 6 am. Some times the training is conducted in the middle of a jungle in Kalaiya.
