The commitment paper reads, "Koshi Province government declared Padam Limbu Lajehang, who died in the course of a demonstration launched against the naming of Koshi Province, a martyr, and extended tribute towards martyr Limbu as well as wished all injured in the agitation a speedy recovery."

"The naming of the province is for the people of the province. There is no doubt that there should be ownership of the province folks in the naming of the province. I on behalf of the government express commitment to resolve problems including all questions raised about the naming of the province by maintaining mutual consensus among all political parties including the main opposition,"  said CM Thapa.

Stating that the province government was always ready to address the genuine demands issues by all agitating sides, he requested all political parties represented in the Province Assembly, agitating sides and Koshi province folks for necessary support for the same.
