CM Singh warns of action over meat and alcohol ban violations

He requested the concerned bodies to strictly implement the provision related to prohibition of sale and consumption of meat and alcohol. CM Singh said that legal action would be taken if this edict is violated.

JANAKPURDHAM, Dec 31: Chief Minister (CM) of Madhesh Province, Satish Kumar Singh, has warned of taking action against those not following the provision related to prohibition of production, sale and consumption of meat and alcohol in Parikrama road of Janakpurdham in Dhanusha district. 


Talking to media persons at Janakpurdham on Tuesday morning, CM Singh called on the residents of Janakpurdham to not produce, sell and consume meat in Parikrama road to maintain the sanctity of Janakpurdham's religious, cultural traditions and prestige.

Similarly, he requested the concerned bodies to strictly implement the provision related to prohibition of sale and consumption of meat and alcohol. CM Singh said that legal action would be taken if this edict is violated.
