CM Adhikari calls for prompt rescue measures

POKHARA, Jan 15: The Chief Minister of Gandaki Province, Khagaraj Adhikari, has called for the search, rescue and treatment of the victims of the plane wreck in Pokhara. Chief Minister Adhikari issued a statement on Sunday and called for search, rescue and treatment of the victims of the plane crash of Yeti Airlines.

CM Adhikari has mentioned that he reached the site of the plane crash and inspected it and got information about the situation there. He said that he has instructed the Nepali Army, Nepal Police, Armed Police and others to immediately search, rescue and treat the injured if they are alive.

CM Adhikari stressed that the cause of the plane crash should be found and the safety should be maintained. It is said in the statement, "It is necessary to investigate the technical and non-technical causes of the plane crash and make Nepal's air travel safe and reliable with utmost priority."
