DOLAKHA, Nov 26: As the polling of the first phase of the election is about to get over, different cases of proxy votes and booth capturing have created tension in numbers of polling centers in Dolakha.

Police have fired five rounds of bullets in Marwu-7 of Baityeshwar Rural Muicipality to control situation after the cadres of the left alliance captured the booth and cast the proxy vote. Chief District Officer Laxman Bikram Thapa informed that the administration is trying to calm down the situation.

Likewise, cadres of the left alliance chased the cadres of Nepali Congress and captured the polling center in Suri of Gauri Shanker of the district. This is the polling center of left alliance candidate Parbat Gurung.

Cadres of the alliance chased Gyan Bahadur Jirel of Nepali Congress from the polling center at Jubun of same rural municipality. District secretary of NC Santosh Rimal accused of proxy voting in the area.
