KATHMANDU, July 11: President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Monday administered the oath of office and secrecy to the newly-appointed Chief Justice Sushila Karki.
Parliamentary Hearing Special Committee (PHSC) had endorsed Karki as new CJ yesterday.
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, Vice-president Nanda Bahadur Pun, Speaker Onsari Gharti Magar, among others, were present at the oath-taking ceremony at the President’s Office, Sheetal Niwas.

On the same occasion, newly-appointed Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Dr Ayodhee Prasad Yadav was administered the oath of office and secrecy by CJ Karki.
