KATHMANDU, Aug 25: Citizens Bank International Ltd (CZBIL) has started its 56th branchless banking service at Jufal VDC of Dolpa.

Issuing a press release on Tuesday, the bank said it has appointed local trader Hari Lal Budha as its representative for the branchless banking service.
"The branchless banking service will provide facilities like deposit mobilization, payments, fund transfer, payment of mobile bill, and utilities bills payment, among others," the release added. The bank said it was hopeful that the initiative will increase financial literacy in the rural areas.
