KATHMANDU, Nov 25: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has filed a lawsuit against Chief Investigation Officer (CIO) with the National Investigation Department Sohan Kumar Rauniyar on the charge of possessing fake academic certificates. 



He has been charged with holding the responsible position on the ground of fake educational degrees. 



The CIAA, during the preliminary investigations, found that educational certificates that Rauniyar presented while joining the Department as a chief guard and getting promotions to the posts of assistant inspector, deputy inspector, inspector and the chief investigation officer were fake. The CIAA today moved the Special Court against Rauniyar.
