KATHMANDU, March 31: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) filed a case against Bishal Pandit, a medical supplies dealer, at the Special Court on Sunday for alleged irregularities in the purchase of medical supplies.

The case has been filed against Pandit, the owner of Lifeline Trade Pvt Ltd and Hospitec Enterprises, in connection with the purchase of medical supplies worth Rs 30 million by the Koshi Province Hospital.
Pandit also runs the Basera Boutique Hotel near the Kathmandu District Administration Office.
