CIAA arrests two for accepting bribes

KATHMANDU, Sept 1: The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) on Tuesday arrested Kedar Bahadur Karki, a non-gazetted first class officer, and his assistant Hom Nath Banjadey on the charge of accepting bribe, said CIAA Acting Chief Commissioner Lalit Bahadur Limbu.



Both work at the Kathmandu Land Revenue Office. “They were arrested while they were found accepting bribes amounting Rs 20, 000,” Limbu told myrepublica.com.
