KATHMANDU, Sept 17: Chivas Regal, the world's first luxury whisky, has introduced Chivas Regal Extra -- its first new global expression since 2007 -- in the Nepali market.
Complementing its collection of premium blended Scotch whiskies, Chivas Regal Extra is one of the richest, most generous tasting blends within this category, the company said in a press release.

"Chivas Regal Extra is a special selection of whiskies matured in Oloroso sherry casks together with the rarest and finest Chivas malts, creating a rich and generous Chivas blend, for those who look for more," the release added.
Kartik Mohindra, business head international brands, Pernod Ricard, said that the launch of Chivas Regal Extra marks another great milestone for Chivas. "We are delighted to offer an exceptionally rich and generous tasting blend with Chivas Regal Extra for those with a discerning taste," the release quoted Mohindra as saying.
