Chitwan hospitals resume emergency services

CHITWAN, May 26: Emergency services have been resumed from Wednesday in four big hospitals of Chitwan, which were closed demanding the public of the whereabouts of Executive Director of BP Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital, Bharatpur, Dr. Bhaktaman Shrestha.



Keeping in mind the problem of patients in the hospitals, the emergency services have been opened in Chitwan Medical College, Bharatpur Medical Science College, Bharatpur hospital and Cancer hospital, according to Save Bhaktaman Campaign.[break]



But, all services in other hospitals have been closed.



Earlier, patients and their kins had demonstrated agitation for not rendering services in the hospitals.



There are more than two dozens hospitals and various medicals in Chitwan.



The Campaign, which has been demanding the whereabouts of Dr. Shrestha, has started signature campaign to put pressure on the administration from Wednesday.
