Biswokarma was murdered on Sunday afternoon after a gang of around 15 persons attacked him while he was taking rest at home. He died on the way while he was rushed to Bharatpur for treatment. [break]
The family members and relatives of deceased Biswokarma, and locals have halted the vehicular movement in different parts of the district along the East-West Highway from 8:00 am this morning.
Hundreds of passengers and vehicles have been stranded at Gaindakot of Nawalparasi district following the strike.
Police have arrested three persons on the charge of murder case. The arrestees include Satish Lama and Amir Lama of Sharadanagar-8 and Bibek Maharjan of Managalpur, said the police.
