With rising interest toward China and the Chinese culture in Nepal of late, investments are pouring in for publication of China-related books in the country. Accordingly, many Chinese publication ventures have opened in Nepal. Nepal Tiyanli Limited is one of such Chinese-owned ventures that has opened its new showroom in Boudha. The publication house was established in three year back, and the formal opening of the showroom was held on Sunday.
According to managing director Chen Xiao, the main objective of the company was to introduce the Chinese culture and way of life among the Nepali readers. During the opening ceremony, the company donated books worth Rs 700,000 to Tribhuvan University Central Library, Katmandu University, and Kathmandu Public Library.

The company has agreement with eight publication houses and distributors of Nepal for selling and buying of their books. With the agreements, Nepal Tiyanli Limited is optimistic about disseminating accurate information about China and the Chinese culture to the Nepali readers.
Recently, the company has published a book in Nepali language, entitled ‘Tibet Ek Chinari’ [An Introduction to Tibet]. The company that was publishing and distributing books in Chinese, English and Tibetan languages untill now will now shift its focus to publishing in Nepali language.
