Chinese envoy meets Khanal, Oli

KATHMANDU, May 12: CPN-UML Chairman Jhalanath Khanal and senior communist leader K P Sharma Oli held discussions with Chinese ambassador to Nepal Qiu Guohong on Tuesday on the current political scenario, the Chinese Embassy in Kathmandu said.



This is the first time the Chinese ambassador has initiated talks with the political leaders after Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal resigned from office on May 4.



A Chinese Embassy source said that he will be interacting with more political leaders in the coming days.
