MUGU, July 14: China government has pledged to provide 346 metric tons food stuffs to the locals of Karmarong Rural Municipality boarding the neighboring country China.
China had stopped providing daily consumable goods since the mega earthquake devastated Nepal on April 25, 2015. It had been regularly providing goods of daily necessities to the locals of Karmarong Rural Municipality before.
“We have received a circulation from China government stating that daily consumable food stuffs including rice, oil, sugar, flour, barley would be provided to the locals of Karmarong Rural Municipality, Bijaya Raj Paudel of District Coordination Committee, local development officer, told Republica Online.
Paudel said that the locals of Karmarong Rural Municipality along with their representatives and ward secretaries must reach the China border Yamashi Bazaar to receive the earthquake relief.
