The deceased is seven-year-old Raj Pappu Yadav, son of Ram Kripal Yadav of Sangrampur VDC-9, Sarlahi district, said the District Police Office, Mahottari.
The child died when a tractor, Ja. 1 Ta. 5513, overturned and crushed him. The child was riding on the tractor with his parents. They were returning home after marking the Bishwakarma Pooja.
Likewise, Bihal Yadav, 35, of Sangrampur VDC-9 was injured in the same accident, said DSP Bijay Bhandari.
