Chand-led CPN Maoist has announced donation campaign saying that they needed some fund to institutionalize the decade-long Maoist-insurgency and the 19-day-long people's movement in the country.
The party has sent letters in the name of Biplab to government offices and VDCs in the district to this effect.
"There is no provision for offering donation. We have received a letter from the Biplab-led CPN Maoist for donation. We are in problem," said an employee.
Followign the formation of the district party organization under the leadership of Chandra Bahadur Budhathoki, the CPN Maoist had first set off a campaign to eliminate corruption, bribery, hooliganism and black-marketing in the country.
One month after the formation of the district party organization, the party has circulated letters asking for donations.
