At a programme organized by All Nepal National Independent Student Union-Revolutionary affiliated to this party in the capital city, Chairman Baidya, said, "We are against the formation of present non-political government and 25-point order. So, the four big parties need to agree on cancellation of the order first if they were flexible," he stressed.
He warned that his party would retaliate with forceful preparation of the parties and government for the election if the demand of the formation of national consensus government through roundtable conference was ignored.
On a different note, he said education sector was in need of transformation. Similarly, leader Baidya accused the government of ignoring community schools.
Kathmandu District Education Officer Baikuntha Aryal said the result of the School Leaving Certificate exams was slow off the mark because of the declining number of students in the community schools, growing number of institutional and private schools, banda and strikes in education sector by the political wings, and undue political interference with the schools.
Principal at the Padmodaya High School, Lalitpur, Bijaya Laxmi Shrestha said the triangular relations between guardians, students and teachers would bring in better results in schools.
ANNISU-Revolutionary Chairman Sharad Rasaili pointed out a need to implement technical and commercial education from grade 8.
Similarly, Chairman of All Nepal Teachers´ Organization, Guna Raj Lohani, said only equal and uniform education system would help enhance education quality in the country.
On the occasion, students, securing more than 80 percent in thy SLC exams from 74 public schools and their representatives were honoured.
