“The central committee meeting will decide the role of our party in the formation of new government,” Oli said, adding, “But I cannot predict the possible outcome.”
Stating that the UML would not let the Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal lead the new government, Oli said that the new government would either be headed by Nepali Congress or UML. “If our party´s stance to stay neutral works for the interest of the country, we may continue our stance,” he added.
Claming that the Maoists were still planning to seize state power, Oli said that the Maoists have to renounce violence to lead the new government.
