Speaking at the Central Committee meeting in Pokhara on Sunday, Spokesperson Pampha Bhusal said, “Central members have supported the political document of Baidya. We will boycott the CA polls and we appeal to all the democratic forces not to participate in the election process.” She said holding the polls without consensus between the political parties would be meaningless. She also said that the CC meeting of the party would decide to boycott the polls. “The document presented by general secretary Ram Bahadur Thapa was also welcomed,” said Bhusal. The CC meeting of the party, which began on Saturday, will conclude on Tuesday.
