CC meeting of Unified Socialist postponed

KATHMANDU, May 6: Meetings of the Standing Committee, Politburo and Central Committee (CC) of the CPN (Unified Socialist) have been postponed.

The party said that the meeting had to be postponed due to the lack of internal preparations.

Although the meeting was called for the preparation of the upcoming convention of the party, the meeting was postponed after the political circumstances started to change.

As per the revised schedule, the standing committee will meet on May 12 and the Politburo meeting will be held on May 13. The central committee meeting will be held on May 14 and May 15.

Earlier, a meeting of the Standing Committee was called on May 9 and a meeting of the Politburo on May 10. The central committee meeting was scheduled for May 11 and May 12.
