A total of 29 lawmakers participated in the meeting.

Lawmaker Pari Thapa said lawmakers from different political parties expressed their opinions on both for and against of the issues.

Meanwhile, lawmaker Sapana Pradhan Malla urged the top leaders of the main parties to attend the meeting of the CC to forge consensus on disputed issues.

Talking to RSS on Sunday, she said absence of the top leaders in the CC meeting was hampering to forge consensus in the conflicting issues.

She blamed the top leaders for being concentrated only in power sharing.
