CC holds brief meeting

KATHMANDU, Dec 25: The Constitutional Committee tasked with preparing an integrated draft of the new constitution briefly met at its office in Singha Durbar on Sunday morning.



The meeting, however, concluded without entering agenda until next week after top leaders of the major political parties including UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal and CPN-UML Chairman Jhalanath Khanal did not show up at the meeting. [break]



The meeting was to endorse agreements reached at the CC sub committee meetings prior to subsequently being incorporated in the draft the new constitution.
