The looter robbed the amount from Ashok Pokharel, 35, of Surunga-5 on the highway, confirmed Area Police Office, Birtamod.[break]
The robbed is said to be an employee at Prabhu Money Transfer. Two motorbike borne robbers following his motorbike (Me 4 Pa 4171) arbitrarily stopped him and decamped with the money.
The looters had opened fire at his stomach while snatching money bag. Pokharel, being treated in BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan, is said to be in critical condition.
The robbers are at large and their search is on, said police.
