KATHMANDU, Nov 6: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has filed a case at the Special Court against Krishna Prasad Subedi, the Chief Administrative Officer of Tokha Municipality, who was arrested on the charge of taking Rs 100,000 bribe money.
Subedi has been charged with seeking bribe money from a community-based organization while releasing the last tranche of road maintenance amount to the consumer committee under the heading of infrastructure development planning. CIAA Spokesperson Rameshwor Dangal said that penalty equal to the accepted amount in bribe by Subedi and jail term is sought against the accused official.
